Central modern apartment with 3 bedrooms - SOLIS

Wonderful and memorable stay Positive: Everything. It was a wonderful stay.

Positive: The supermarket is just next door. We were able to prepare our meals in the well equipped kitchen as the waiting time at restaurants was quite long and many require prebooking. Liked the heated bathroom floor. Clothes can dried up easily. Walking distance to the central about 10 to 15 mins for all the various activities. Can also walk to the lake behind the apartment in about 30 mins but didn't manage to catch the lights due to cloudy sky. Near bus stop to city and airport. We saw northern lights while walking to the city centre on the last night! Negative: No curtain or blind in the living room but hardly see the neighbours next door except maybe the park goers. A bit difficult to book transport to the airport in the early morning. We were cancelled twice. Didn't take the bus as it was challenging to drag our luggage in the snowy path.

Superb for what we needed, Positive: Supermarket nearby, flat close to Tromso centre, but in a quiet residential area. Property was well insulated (heat and sound) so was easy to sleep, we had to turn the heating down and even open a window when it was too warm! Negative: Hard pushed to find anything we didn't like..... There were 3 of us using 2 bedrooms, and having one bathroom / toilet to share was achievable. If there were 4 people using the 3 bedrooms it might have been more of a stretch.
